QW2001 will involve over 80 Conference Presentations and over 40 full technical papers will be included in the Conference CD-ROM. Two very special QW2001 Awards will go to the winning participant:
Best Paper Award	The members of the QW2001 Advisory Board selected the QW2001 Best Paper Award, whose author(s) receive a cash price of $1000.
Best Presentation Award	QW2001 attendees voted for the QW2001 Best Presentation Award, and the presenter will be invited to give the same presentation at QWE2001 in Brussels, Belgium in November.
Take a look at the QW2001 Best Presentation and Best Paper Results: The QW2001 Best Paper Award, as voted by the advisory board, went to Mr. Nikhil Nilakantan & Mr. Ibrahim K. El-Far (Florida Tech) for his paper "Why is API Testing Different". (4W1)". The Best Presentation Award, as voted by the attendees, went to Dr. Linda Rosenberg (NASA GSFC). Linda will be presenting her talk, "Independent Verification And Validation Implementation At NASA (5P1)," at QWE2001, being held in Brussels, Belgium on 12-16 November 2001. Congratulations to both!
Take a look at the QWE2000 Best Presentation and Best Paper Results: The Gitek Best Paper Award, which carries a cash price of $1000, was awarded to Mr. Nigel Bevan (Serco Usability Services, UK) for his paper (11A) "Incorporating User Quality Requirements in the Software Development Process". The CMG Best Presentation Award, which includes a certificate and an invitation to present the same talk at QW2001, went to Ms. Lisa Crispin for her talk (4T) "The Need for Speed: Automating Functional Testing in an eXtreme Programming Environment".
