Agile Software Process Improvement

Presentation Abstract

Software process improvement (SPI) is an effective means by which software development and maintenance organizations can move toward higher performance. But SPI can easily become a bureaucratic, slow, ineffective endeavor. This does not have to be the case. This presentation will describe an approach to software process improvement that is streamlined but effective. It can be used by large and small organizations to develop “lean and mean” SPI projects.
