Dear Colleagues,

QW2000 has reserved a limited number of tickets for the Wednesday evening game between the San Francisco Giants and the Philadelphia Phillies. This game has been completely sold out for many weeks. We bought the largest number of seats that we could!

QW2000 attendees will be given preference in sign-up for this event in the following order:

• 1st Preference. Those who are signed up for the Combined QW2000 Event, including both Tutorials and Post-Conference Workshops.

• 2nd Preference. Those who are signed up either for Tutorials + Conference or Conference + Workshops. Also in the category are all QW2K speakers.

• 3rd Preference. Those signed up for Conference only.

• Order of Preference. Strictly first come first served in each of the three classes above.

• Number of Tickets. One ticket per QW2000 attendee unless there are tickets left over after all Preferences have been filled.

Signup sheets for this event will be made available beginning at 3:00 PM on Tuesday afternoon, 30 May 2000. This is timed to begin at the start of the Tutorial Day afternoon break.

The sign-up sheets will be collected at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, 31 May 2000. This is just after the Wednesday Afternoon Refreshment Break.

Tickets to the game will be handed out by name beginning at 5:00 PM on Wednesday.

The game is at 7:15 PM that night at Pac Bell Park, about 25 minutes walking distance, or about 20 minutes by public transportation.
