Dr. Selim Aissi holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the
University of Michigan and has been involved in the development of
safety-critical embedded systems in the R&D, military, automotive, and
appliance environments for over a decade. Dr. Aissi worked at the University
of Michigan, General Dynamics - Land Systems, General Motors - ECOE, Applied
Dynamics International, and Intel Corporation. He is currently managing a
team involved with next-generation Embedded Devices at Intel's New Business
Group in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA.
Dr. Aissi has been teaching various Safety-Critical Systems Engineering
courses for the past 10 years and is an active member of various standards
development groups, technical journals, and book review committees.
