The scientific method is a process that describes how scientists think and what they do during scientific research. Creativity and critical thinking are important parts intimately integrated in the used problem-solving methods. The purpose of science is to gain knowledge about nature.
The purpose of software testing is to gain knowledge about the system you are testing.

About the Author

Anders have been working with testing of software and systems, mainly real-time and telecommunication systems Since 1982, but also large client server systems. Anders is currently working as a consultant at Enea Realtime AB. Anders is writing test processes and methods for system testing. He also works with test process improvements for different customers.
