Presentation Abstract

The paper offers a Microsoft Excel based QA checklist of more than 200 criteria, categorized and equipped with automatic graphic analysis, for determining what results in a good experience for the web site customer. The checklist considers industry best practices, generally accepted web standards, and has successfully been applied in several e-business projects.

About the Author

At the time of paper submission, Dr. Klaus Quibeldey-Cirkel was working as a senior system architect at the software company TLC GmbH located in Frankfurt, Germany. He has more than 7 years of industrial experience as a hardware and software engineer. Beginning in September 2001, he will be a professor of Computer Science and a faculty member of the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, Germany.
