Quality problems are more specific in web development. Currently there are no specific models for web products quality control. This paper presents an approach to this new paradigm of web development based on quality models.

About the Author

Dr. Antonio de Amescua
Ph. D. in Computer Science. He has been working as researcher in Polytechnic University of Madrid from 1983 to 1991. He worked parallely as software engineering in private and public companies. Now, he is a Full Professor in the Computer Science Department of the Carlos III University of Madrid. He has been researching in new software engineering methods, with results edited in international papers and congress. Also, he has written several books on software engineering. He was the research project leader for the development of the Information System Development Methodology for the Spanish Administration. He, usually, participates in projects sponsored by the European Commission.

Guillermo Pastor
Software engineer by the Polytechnic University of Madrid. From 1996 to 2000 he was a research assistant at the Artificial Intelligence Department of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, working in several Spanish and European research projects. He is currently developing his Ph. D. thesis on web quality at the Carlos III University of Madrid. Now, he is the Organization Quality Coordinator of INAD (INtelligent ADvisors) a Spanish consultancy company belonging to the ALTRAN Group.
